Ortiz-Berto round 6 is not even in the same league as Angulo-Kirkland round 1.

Ortiz was knocked down in the final minute or so of round 6, almost stopped, and then throws a right hook to knock Berto down, but it was a flash knockdown. We were surprised because it came out of nowhere, but Berto was not hurt or anything. The SOLE reason that round was huge was because of the flash knockdown.

Angulo-Kirkland was war from the very beginning. Kirkland gets dropped in the FIRST 30 seconds, and after that it's Angulo BOMBING AWAY trying to stop Kirkland for the next minute and a half throwing over a hundred punches. Then it's Kirkland BOMBING AWAY and hurting and nearly stopping Angulo in the final 30 seconds as he knocks him down. The punishment those two took in the opening round was crazy...

people are going to quickly pick Angulo Kirkland because the fight just happened. Fresh in our memories. Wait until the year is over then we can all make a good decision.

This is a tough choice. What I like about Berto vs Ortiz is that the knockdowns were so unexpected. And they were hard single shots that took each other down, not an accumulation of punches. With Kirland vs Angulo you sort of half expected them so it wasn't such an OSHIT moment as Berto/Ortiz.

I do not see what is so bad about it. Linares vs Demarco was pretty bad ass also. People are being pre biased because the fight just ****ing happened. It was a good round but quit overrating the ****ing thing

                  You have a point.

But I really can't see anything outside of these rounds winning the award:

                  Kirkland Angulo Round 1
                  DeMarco Linares Round 11
                  Wolak-Rodriguez Round 9

For me it's got to be DeMarco vs Linares round 11. That was just a massacre!
