Who should Floyd fight on May 5th? (Other than Manny)

I have lost all faith that Manny vs. Floyd will happen on May 5th. And even as a fan of Floyd's boxing skills, I think a potential match with Morales is a joke and should never happen. And for the love of the sport, I hope it doesnt happen.

So who do you think Floyd Mayweather should fight next?

He, like Manny should fight the best available at the WW limit, or JrMW or MW if they decide to go up. So at the moment, according to Ring Magazine ratings he should fight:

@WW - Manny Pacquiao, Victor Ortiz or Andre Berto
@JrMW - Miguel Cotto, Alfredo Angulo or Saul Alvarez
@MW - Sergio Martinez or Felix Sturm

If someone comes up from JrWW then it has to be either Tim Bradley or Amir Khan, but at the 147lbs WW limit. No more catch weights, no more cherry picking, lets just have the best fighting the highest ranked contenders they can.

......I must be dreaming though right?..

Your Google search failed to mention that Alfredo "El Perro" Angulo just got knocked out in 6 this past Saturday on HBO. I also didnt put Bradley up on the poll because Bob Arum stated that Pacquiao might be fighting Bradley in the spring time around April. And I honestly think Bradley/Pacquiao is already in the works.

Sergio at 154 or Amir Khan at 147. No one else should even be in the discussion.

There was no google search involved mate. If you actually read my post you will see I took the current Ring Magazine ratings. I don't rate these guys, take it up with Oscar.

I think Floyd should go to Guadalajara, Mexico and fight Canelo Alvarez. DAMN! Big PPV #'s! Mad respect to Floyd if he does this...

I picked Sergio myself @ 150-154. And I would love to see Mayweather/Khan, but I think Khan should have at least 1 or 2 tune up fights @ 147 before he goes up against Mayweather.

Or sell out Estadio Azteca with over 100K fans. On 5 De Mayo that would be the biggest PPV draw, no doubt.

Anyone but Sergio and Floyd is a joke. Khan hasn't even fought at 147,Canelo has barely fought world class opposition and Mayweather would never fight Cotto or Margarito now, as they're Pacquiao's "leftovers".
