Did Angulo show you anything new?

    Great fight.

Showed me nothing I didn't know already. An extremely limited, gutsy brawler.

His power is always going to be a threat as well as his determination but as soon as James used his jab, it was all over.

Does Angulo spar or anything? Who is his trainer? I've never seen a 'top' middleweight with 20 odd pro fights technically lacking so badly in all my life.

You can say he gassed or whatever, who's fault is that? Gassed in 1 round after throwing 70 punches, what?! 68 of which was in slow motion! Seen heavyweights 60+ lbs overweight with a better gas tank.

Great performance by James but Angulo sucks.
I said before James very likely sparks him. Might have a pretty weak chin but he's just got to many tools for Angulo.

Too big, strong, quick, his conditioning is a lot better, he's just better in every department.

Where the hell did this Angulo hype come from? Is it because he's Mexican?

It's the only thing I can think of because quite frankly if he was from any other country he'd of been labelled a bum.

no one ever proclaimed Angulo as anything great
at least not as a skilled boxer
he's just a tough brawler who makes for good action fights
he didn't have any crazy hype on him
Kirkland loss looks a little bad just because Kirkland was overlooked
many thought he'd be easy pickings for Angulo after the Ishida KO
Angulo had him and let him off the hook
doesn't mean Angulo sucks, just that Kirkland is tougher than expected

Angulo gassed out very badly, but then he also took some huge damage in R1, damage that would have stopped most 154'ers. I don't think he ever fully got his legs back and wasn't able to adapt when Kirkland started to mix things up with the jab.

Angulo's limitations don't take anything away from the fact he's a hard man who can punch like jack hammer. He needs some serious conditioning and a plan B.

I agree, definitely needs to work his conditioning and coming up with a plan B

I think a lot was to do with Kirklands conditioning that & he was like a man possessed.
His conditioning was great & he was damn huge on fight night.

Anybody know his weight? He looked a good 175 to me

Angulo caught a bodyshot that messed him up.

I expected more tho since he had Berestein in his corner though.

Yeah. Berestein is Sun Tzu. What happened there?
