So, you state that Arum is protecting Martiroysan, but you cannot see that he is doing the exact same thing to Pacquiao? Thats kinda selective, aint it?

it's called the "manny pacquiao technique".. fight nobody pad your record fighting bums. get a few washed up guys on your resume who have a name.. avoid real fights. get a good promoter and let the media hype you up even though you have done absolutely nothing.. and create a fake image so the casual fan will like you..

The winner would have a solid argument alright.

I wonder where Kirkland is ranked right now, he must be top 5 ?

Also, where is Molina ranked, he must be mid-table somewhere, as would Lara ?

Personally, while there are a number of names at 154 and plenty of action fights to be had, there are very few (if any) proven performers, other than Cotto at welter.

It is hard to get a gauge on Canelo/Chavez/Kirkland/Angulo/ now, and I get the feeling that most top fights at 154 would be real pickem affairs, Cotto included at this stage.

Hard to tell where any of those guys are at.

Canelo shows the most promise but has not actually answered any questions.

alvarez should be lining up these guys like angulo, kirkland and lara. they are all with golden boy so no excuses yet still no fights. instead he's lining up alfono gomez, mathew hatton, etc...
No, he should not be, because he is clearly not ready yet.

If it weren't for the fact that the kid holds a paper strap, everyone would be saying that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Regardless as to his current situation, a 20yo kid with tonnes of promise should never be thrown in the deep-end.

If the point that you were making was that Canelo is a paper champ, then hell yes, I agree 100%..... but so what? You know it, I know it, and everyone else including Canelo knows it..... but again, so what?

The reason why it doesnt bother me, is because belts are completely worthless and mean nothing to me anyways.

His handlers have done a fantastic job, they deserve full credit.

Baby steps (because you can)... and, you climb the ladder one rung at a time.

Erislandy Lara definitely made a name for himself after he thoroughly beaten Gigantic former Jr.Middleweight champion Paul Williams but got robbed off a win by the unscrupulous judges.

Lara vs Kirkland looks like another barn burner. SO LET'S GET THIS FIGHT ON!!!
