last night, i got something that i couldnt even have dreamed of...what a scrap!

when Kirkland got dropped, i didnt think he was making it out of that round...what ensued was a classic...

after the 1st round, i didnt sit down til about the 4th of 5th round
I was the same way, honestly I was falling asleep thinking it was going to be a boring KO victory for El Perro. My Heineken bottle was half hanging out of my hand on the couch and then once the bell rang and they began they woke me right up. I couldn't even fall asleep for an hour after the fight.

Question, how do you feel about a Lara vs Kirkland match up?

If Kirkland lost people would have been calling on him to retire. Since he won big he should get all the props.
I'm not taking anything away from Kirkland it was a deserved win. But it seemed Angola punched himself out, like I said though I still havent even seen the first round it might have been a punch that Kirkland landed on Angola and Angola just never recovered. But then again Roy Jones seemed pretty confident that Angulo punched himself out.

I was not convinced Angola was gonna win prefight. I mean Kirkland goes from taking some big shots from Joel Julio to getting dropped by Ishida in the first round... something had to be off that night it just didnt add up.

        Lara-Kirkand?

it would be interesting to see if Lara has the stamina to box and stay away from Kirkland...similar to what he did with Williams

however, the difference in power might make Lara even more defensive...

but, we do have to consider that Kirkland is a bit chinny so anything can happen...

It was a classic. Cant be argued.
