Hey, how about Kirkland vs. Mayweather?

It would sell and it's certainly credible.

Do you think Floyd would entertain a fight with Kirkland?

    And who would win?

Me, I don't think Money would ever share a ring with the "Mandingo Warrior."

Even, Pacquaio vs. Kirkland would be interesting. How do you all seeing that one play out?

maybe kirkland could beat martinez and get down to 150 lbs.

    And who would win?
floyd is the favorite, but kirkland has the kind of pressure style that makes floyd cringe.

    it's not likely.

    Pac is too small.

doubt PAC or Floyd would fight Kirkland. Kirkland has A LOT of potential but it seems he's VERY DEPENDENT on Anne Wolfe, and without her he's not the same. I could see Floyd and Pacquiao beating the James Kirkland that fought last night. I could see Floyd out boxing James for a UD and I could see Pacquiao taking Kirkland into deep waters and drowning him. However look to see Kirkland against Alvarez, or the winner of Margarito/Cotto next.

I wondered how long it would take for this type of foolishness to begin.

          Why foolish?
Floyd can fight at 154 and the whole world would gobble this fight up. Big money maker !It would be compelling and Floyd would have a real fight for a change.

I suppose it is foolish to suggest that it could happen. Floyd would never fight him. Just talking in an ideal boxing world, I think many would gravitate to this match-up.

yEAH RIGHT. James Kirkland just took short money to fitght Perro in Cancun. He is less known than Ortiz. He holds no title. Its also foolish because floyd fought 1 time at 154 and that was for ODH and $25 mil. WHy would he go up to fight a non top 10 ranked JMW?

Besides, you keep saying floyd wont take fight so your point is floyd is scared. I figured this kind of ******ity wouldn't be up until monday.

He's not known. After a Marquee fight on HBO? You don't think they can rock 1.5M PPV sales? I do. And he's certainly ranked now. he fights for Golden Boy and Floyd does, too.

If you are saying that Kirkland is too big and strong at 154, that's reasonable.

No, I don't think Floyd is "scared" but I do not think he'd ever share a ring with a monster like that.
