I don't understand how anyone could feel a robbery was going to take place...The scorecards weren't that close. It's not like it was the last round either...
Was kirkland going to get robbed?

It was what i had heard during the mid rounds.Might of been a mistake but it was too obvious to "go back" on scorecards when it was apparent the hometown guy looks dismantled.THAT was the difference imo.Comment

OK??? Still not sure why you thought a robbery would have happen. But, whatever...Carry on.Comment

It sure would be nice if people stopped pretending like Angulo landed anything significant after the knockdown...
And better yet, if people stopped pretending like Kirkland wasn't throwing back after that knockdown...
Guy barely landed anything and definitely nothing flush...Comment

As far as getting robbed, the fight was going to be closer than it was. I think if Angulo could've fought hard and kept it close in at least 3 of the last 4 rounds, he would've won the fight or been given a draw... And that's after getting beat for a majority of the fightComment

That fight was never going into to go to a decision. Kirkland was going to continue to give Angulo a beating and Alfredo was going to keep having terrible body language, even while trying to hold on.
Kirkland averaging over 30 punches landed per round is what makes for career threatening injuries.Comment
