Before i go,I heard midway through the rounds that the fight was "close" on some judges cards? What do you guys think, was it heading to the hometown cooking and possibly being a bigger scam then williams/laras?
Was kirkland going to get robbed?

, I also saw that de la hoya was paying attention to what kirkland was saying, it seemed as if he wanted to see if kirkland would bad mouth/devalue angulo, but when kirkland ****e good things de lahoya seemed to accept that as the correct answer. Anybody else see this? -
Yes... if it went the distance it probably would've been ruled a draw. I couldn't belive what I was hearing when Lederman was announcing it.Comment

no. one of the judges gave angulo the first 10-9 and one had it 10-10. lederman gave it to kirkland for some strange reason. the third judge gave angulo 2 rounds so yes he was obviously on crack but the other cards were legit because they gave angulo no more than 1 round.Comment

I find this thread funny... best way to rob somebody is by stopping the fight when a fighter just got up from a knockdown and is getting pummaled(and the stoppage would not have been bad).
How can you say he was going to get robbed when the ref could have stopped the fight in favor of el pero in the 1st round, weird.Comment
