This is a boxing and this was a title fight. The fighters should be given the benefit of the doubt. Smith looked fine protesting the stoppage so I don't think he was hurt that bad...

I changed my mind. I watched the replay of the first knockdown. The Ref got it right, he was on vacation, legs stumbling. I'll be interested to see what DeFail has to say about that.

Groves' jab looked excellent. If it weren't for the knockout, I think he'd have busted Smith up with his jab anyway.

Smith looked alright from the waist up but his legs were totally gone when the ref counted him.

Smith had planned to move down to middleweight before he got the Groves offer. If he stays in boxing, he has to move down. He's too short to make an impact at 168lb, in my opinion.
