That's Bob Arum for you. He wants to do that because Floyd's PPV was for that price. He figures that if Floyd can do it, so can Manny. I just watched a video where Bob Arum says that the guys from the UFC are doing a tremendous job with promotions, shows, and something else [I forget what though]and he's trying to duplicate that. Bob Arum watches, see what works, and tries to duplicate. The UFC and the other, less established promoters, along with the fighters are laying the groundwork. Bob Arum is just trying to follow suit. He's trying to imitate what everyone else is doing for his own personal greed, while keeping all the money in-house. He also cooks the numbers so he can pocket more money.
Just look for a Filipino dude and go to his place. That's what I've been doing since Pac fought Diaz. It's free, there's some hot chicks there, and the food is free and awesome. I love it when I watch PPVs with a crapload of people. The atmosphere is awesome.
Ohh gee... $60 bucks... gonna have to take a loan out for that!
I pay $70 for HD + fee for any PPV even I want to enjoy and I don't mind at all. It happens 3-4 times a year at most and it's a greatly put together experience. It's must for real boxing fans not cheap skates.
