Toney is far past his prime, fighting on foreign soil, had to drop alot of weight and had not had a meaningful win in years. I am confused why everyone seems to be sure he is going to win this?

Lebedev retires Toney. It would obviously be the feel-good story of the year if Toney could pull it off, but it wont happen.

If any of the delusional Toney fans fancy a bet, I'm in for 500M.

toney looks to be in good shape.... he lost the weight over a 3-4month period.... he didn't rush to make weight.... so anyone who thinks the loss in weight is a major issue is completely wrong....

i just wonder if he got any decent sparring, i don't think he did.... his preparations, other than diet and weight lifting, i've not heard too much else.... i know he doesn't do 'runs' anymore....

he said he was deadlifting 500pounds, benching 300pounds.... so he'll be strong.... but as far as agility and endurance.... who knows.... i just don't rate ledebev, so i think toney's got a good chance... but if he's expecting to just counter-punch - he'll lose on the cards, purely because he didn't throw enough.... james' chins to good for him to get stopped.....

ledebev is a square on southpaw, who's not quick.... he's tough and durable.... but not much else.... if toney's a 1/3 of himself, he'll look good... that doesn't mean he'll win.

I see Lebedev winning this with Toney retiring late. I would love to see Toney pull this off though.

                    Let's do it Larry.

I see this as a win-win. I'll gladly pay if Toney wins........ and then i hope he announces his retirement.

I'm surprised he made weight. I fully expected this to be declared a heavyweight fight earlier in the week.
