I wanted to see this fight back when both guys were still at 140. I always thought this fight would be the epitome of "puncher" vs "boxer". One guy has tremendous power but lacks speed and finesse while the other guy lacks power but has lots of speed and finesse. We'll see which style is superior.

    P.S.
I hope HBO picks up this fight. I miss Malignaggi's ****y attitude, he always says something funny in post fight interviews.

How many fights does he need to "get his feet wet"? Seems like all his fights are now tune ups. For what exactly?

Yea I got Pualie in this too... all he has to do is survive Maidana's bombs and he'll be able to outbox him.

Paulie's chin stayed intact against prime-cotto, prime-hatton, and last year against Khan.

he's been beaten up but never ktfo.. i don't think maidana will stop paulie. i see paulie winning by close UD.

but hes jumping up in a new weight class...and i wouldnt exactly call maliganggi a tune up, more like a measuring stick to see where hes at with this weight before taking on ortiz or berto

                    Would be an interesting fight.

Paulie out boxes him for 12 but maidana's got that game changer. Could go either way.
