Lol just reminded me how much I laughed when I first saw that movieThat's the thing with Pacquiao. And I've said it before as well.
David Díaz, Oscar de la Hoya, Cotto, and Mosley have said it...the problem isn't that he hits particularly hard, it's just that he's so fast and throws them from every side that you're getting hit with punches you don't brace yourself for...especially when they're in combinations of three, four, five, or six. An example:

The way I see it SSM is sore
but at the same time he tried to bully manny got stunned and started to box
had he thrown more punches he would have boxed circles around manny
but instead he did infact avoid the KO
Manny cant deal with a puncher with power and speed
Mosley had the power and speed to give manny fits but he didnt have the balls to throw
and that hurts me to say cause he is my Fav all time fighter but im keeping it realComment

Not really. By him saying "the same stuff," he's using a cop-out and saying that Manny may have beaten him, but something wasn't right about him. He's not directly accusing Manny of loading his gloves, being on performance enhancers, etc., but he's rationalizing his own behavior in the fight by passive-aggressively taking away from Manny's abilities.SSM has confirmed once and for all and quite eloquently that Pac really does hit mammothly and mightily hard and is not just speedy and quite a hard hitter. Tecnically Pac is probably rather good, and much better than given credit for, but when people cant handle the power, Pac dont need to be so tecnical.
Some people have to be tecnical to win their fights like a famous boxer who dont fight that much.
But i cant see JMM going more than 3 rounds.
Manny Pacquiao "doesn't hit that hard" in the same sense that Mike Tyson "didn't hit that hard," as Larry Holmes once insinuated. Manny is a smaller guy in a heavy division, as was Tyson. His punching power isn't derived from brute force (George Foreman, Sonny Liston) or leverage (Thomas Hearns, Julian Jackson) but from explosion. He doesn't sit down on his punches at all. He's entirely mobile while he's punching, contorting his body into so-called "awkward" positions. He's an "awkward" puncher because he's not following the same punch path and pattern as a boxer "should," so his stronger opponents (Cotto, Mosley, Clottey) don't see the punches coming at all.
They don't see the punches, added to the fact that Pacquiao has an enormous amount of explosive velocity on his shots and an awkward style.
If his power was derived simply from speed, then every boxer with good hand speed would have a high KO ratio.Comment

Yeah when you get old and shot things that didnt bother you in prime will seem so much more than the old days when you were a lion , Shane would have flogged Manny a few years back , you know when Manny was too scared to fight him even at a ridicules 144 CW , you guys are pathetic how you pump Mannys tyres up while he cherry picks the division into CW rorts .SSM has confirmed once and for all and quite eloquently that Pac really does hit mammothly and mightily hard and is not just speedy and quite a hard hitter.
