      James Toney had good defense but he got hit a lot, nobody can deny that.
      MAyweather has to be on the list.

            Many don't realize that Toney was an absolute offensive & defensive beast in his younger years, and that's sad.

            To only give Toney, Sweet Pea & Floyd an honorable mention is to invalidate the list.

                Floyd is better than quite a few on that list.

                Bernard Hopkins does not have the kind of reflexes or speed that many of these guys do, and for that I would have him as an honorable mention, he is a master of space and nullifying the other guys offense. For me he is better than Toney in his defensive qualities.

                    Klitschko's have very underrated defence, neither brother gets hit often at all & this isn't just because of their height/reach.
                    While I think Gavilans defence is underrated and I rate it as pretty good, he was definately hittable and a host of other names should come before him, he was known as one of the best offensive fighters of all time.
