You obviously didn't watch the fight, you just found out the punch stats and came on here with this nonsense.

Katsidis was walking towards Marquez wrecklessly not respecting his power the entire fight, that's the only reason why his punchstats are better. Katsidis was only looking for a 1 punch KO.

Marquez beat Katsidis, but to come in here and say he schooled him, it's pretty ****** comment.

no, i watched the fight. . . aside from the one KD, it was a pretty one-sided fight. . . marquez schooled katsidis. . . i use the punchstats as an objective measure to further support the fight. . . marquez chose to fight katsidis' fight on the inside, and beat him. . .

there are different levels of "school-age", but marquez/katsidis is a schooling. . .

winning the WBC welterweight strap off the #2 welterweight was a more "pointless" assignment than a title defense at welterweight against juan manuel marquez. i read this right.

and yes, there is a difference between a fighters numerical age and his "boxing age". case in point: RJJ vs. Joe Calzaghe. . Only two years apart age wise, but about 10 years apart "boxing age". . . Plenty of other cases where a fighter is shot to **** well before his 35th birthday, and other fighters who are still in their prime up to their 40th birthday. .

so many ignorant people on here. . . makes me feel ashamed to call these noobs my colleagues. . . day by day schooling these noobs. . .

are you joking? erm i sugest you watch Katsidis fight and the first Juan Diaz fight JMM has been in steady decline for a number of years.

To say a 38 year old who has been in nearly 60 pro fights and multiple gruelling 12 round wars is still in or even close to his prime is frankly ridiculous.

You sure did, bumsniff. Ortiz was absolutely no threat whatsoever, and its not like Floyd is at a stage where belts really matter, is he?

Both of these fights are crap and have only got in the way of the only fight that matters. I want to see Floyd and Manny fight when they are at their best, and not when they have started to decline rapidly.

Seriously you are delusional classic case of over evaluating your own self worth. I think the majority see you as a second rate poster with a bee in his bonnet, you seem to see yourself as gods gift to boxingscene you are not and some of your posts are down right laughable.

There's no such thing, when a fighter get's schooled, somebody wins FLAWLESSLY.

Last time I checked getting dropped doesn't mean Flawless, please don't try to feed me you're BS.
