If JMM was a "natural lightweight", his fight night weight would be within the LW limits. Pac on the other hand is a natural WW. His walking around weight is the same as his fighting weight.

Ever since they changed the rule from same day weigh in to the day before, idiots like you think that a fighters dehydrated/starvation weight is their natural weight.

uhh. . pac weighs 148 on fightnight. . . marquez weighs 148 on fightnight. .

how is one bigger than the other? the only difference between marquez and pac is that marquez CUTS MAD WEIGHT! to fight at lightweight, while pac doesn't cut weight and fights at his normal weight. . .

So Marquez vs Mayweather is justified based on your reasoning?

Well shit! Looks like I gotta give Floyd tons more credit now. He beat a man just near his size or hell lets just say he beat a man his size and was the number 2 P4P! YUP!

Hell I gotta give him even more credit now! Victor Ortiz was a damn MW going in there. God Damn Floyd is the GOAT.

Amen! And if fighters want to risk their health and life by cheating the scales, then so be it. Fight where u belong or dont fight.

we don't know how much mayweather weighed in on fight night because he refused to release his weight. . . i know he weighed 149 on fight night against ortiz, but for some reason he DID NOT MAKE the agreed upon weight, and then didn't release his fightnight weight. . . Im inclined to believe Mayweather was a bit heavier than 149 that night. . . Even so, yes, Mayweather vs. Marquez was justified. . . "pound for pound" guys like Marquez and Mayweather should meet up. . .

Didn't Sugar Ray Leonard jump up to fight Hagler? I don't hear anybody calling that a mismatch? Duran to fight Hagler?

This is how you find out who the "pound for pound" guys are!

WORD thats y fighters from the past are generally considered tougher. It's more warrior-like when you fight under those circumstances

Only if we knew what Floyd weighed on fight night since he refused to be weighed after coming in 2lbs over the contractual agreement the day before.
