I agree. They were ducking mosley because weights were different.

the fight was at 145. manny was 142 and the circumstances for that fight were different. oscar spent training camp making weight and not actually training to fight.

But when Mayweather and Pacman are both in their prime fighting weights at 144, there should be no reason they both can't come into the ring.

Manny and Floyd were not in negotiations a the time Mosley asked for the fight. This was in early 2009 when Floyd was still officially retired. Roach even said it on camera that the refused to fight Mosley at 147 because of the weight even though they fought Oscar 147 too. They wanted no part of the Mosley that knocked out Margarito and thats the truth.

Like I said he dominated and stopped the man who beat Mosley so it really doesnt matter does it? why didnt Floyd when he came back out of retirement take that fight instead of Marquez?

And I want you to show me proof that he asked for that fight in early 2009 it wasnt early 2009 I recall after the hatton fight he asked for it and Manny beat Hatton in I think May of 2009 not exactly early 2009.

But I understand it you guys want manny to take all the fights and yet co sign when Floyd takes fights like Baldomir, or Judah who was comming off a loss I hear ya.
Manny took on fighters that Floyd didnt want nothing to do with thats known. at the end of the day if Floyd never takes this fight, his career is going to be remembered as such you know it.

The fight wasn't at 145 it was at the welterweight limit of 147. Oscar weighed in at around 145 and was a deadman walking. Manny was actually heavier than Oscar on fight night and you could look up the fight and see for yourself. 142 was way too low to ask Shane to drop down to and Freddy Roach knew that.

as far as Mosley vs Mayweather, you cant exactly state for a fact that Floyd fought a better version of Mosley.

Lets be real Mosley had two long training camps going in, one for the Berto fight and that got called off at the last min and then another for the Floyd fight, he may have been over trained going in.
