147 was way too big for manny back in 2009. he was right around 140 for his fights in 2008 and 2009. Ducking opponents based on size and weight vs ducking opponents that are in your natural weight class is worlds apart different.

Would manny have ducked Margarito at 150 back in 2009? Of course. He was 140 back then.

To fight a mosley or mayweather, training camp can't consist of making weight. You have to be at that weight when camp starts.

To fight an oscar too old hoya is a different matter.
