My view on Amir Khan

khan has great physical ability except for his chin. he's tough to be on the outside, but his inside game is garbage. his technique looks kinda amatuerish, but roach lets khan throw punches the way he wants to... roach isn't like nacho and he's not trying to mold you into something you're not.

Khan's a good young fighter,his fans blow smoke up his azz..But it does not change the fact Khan is the real deal..He has flaws(but what young fighter does not have flaws)but he at least is trying to improve umm..At the moment Khan has no shot at beating May or Pac tho..

IMO he is very overrated & seems to impress Joe public by fighting defensive midgets.

He has sloppy footwork, I don't rate his chin at all & he has an amateur style.
He possesses zero head movement and can't fight on the inside for toffee.

Wind up a toy car & let it go forward - That is Amir Khan.


He is not a great fighter or a particularly good one, he is just very carefully managed.

His style is far too predictable.

Bounces on his toes, jumps in to throw 4-5 punches, jumps away on his toes....rinse and repeat all fight. Peterson took away his space and didn't allow him to jump in and Amir looked lost at times. He doesn't have a plan B, he can't fight inside, he runs away; got no chance against the top guy's at 147 who will bully him around.

While it is a good fighter, in my opinion is overrated. It has incredible physical conditions "speed, explosion, motor skills and good legs". But he has good technique, it is not bad. But his technique is not special, its defense is throwing punches, not advantage of his speed to counterpunch, and their combinations are not the most effective.
For these things I've been watching I do not like Amir, but I respect him as a boxer always looking for the best deal.

This is my thought, and this does not seek to attack Khan or his fans
