After four years, Ivan Calderon (35-2-1, 6KOs) returned to 105 pounds on Saturday night in Puerto Rico. Calderon did not perform as expected, winning a close split decision over Mexico's Felipe Rivas (11-9-1 and 5KOs). Calderon won the fight on two cards, with scores of 97-93 and 96-94, while the third judge saw it 96-94 for Rivas. In February of 2012, Calderon is targeting a shot at the WBO minimumweight champion Moises Fuentes.

Terrible main event for WBO Convention..Ring rust I doubt from all accounts he was ready w/good gym preps/sparing and no trouble making 105...maybe Segura's punches linger??...either way this was vs a guy 9-9...he'll have trouble w/Raul...
