To be honest, you sound like one of those crackheads outside of a liquor store.
You know the kind that tries to have a long drawn out conversation that's full of a whole lot of nothing.
But I'm bored so let's talk. If Manny isnt a top fighter, then who is?
It's kind of hard to take anyone serious who claims Bernard Hopkins was the product of media hype/match making....smh
Like I said ... either you'd man up and discuss the merits of BOXING on a BOXING website, or you'd guzzle down some more hooch and pontificate to others to forget your own personal problems.
That crackhead has been rubbing off on you more than you realize, chump. Oops I mean .. champ.Comment

Roy was great no doubt, but I never saw the separation (in talent/skills) from guys like Hopkins and Mayweather (back then) like most tried to claim.
I guess to each his own.....Last edited by Khalid X; 10-30-2011, 12:25 AM.Comment

I feel you TR....but Roy's speed imo would've kept him at least 2 or 3 steps ahead of B.Hop....if Ex has a weakness its dealing with speed imoComment

People will criticise Pac no matter what. The guy was a freakin lightweight three years ago now he's potentially gonna fight Sergio Martinez at 150 lbs. Don't talk about that catchweight champ shi t, Martinez is the one who's been calling HIM OUT. There's really no one at welterweight. Welterweight was a danger zone a couple of years ago. Manny has pummelled the crap out of Cotto, Margarito and Mosley. Mayweather doesn't want to fight him. Who else is there? Tim Bradley would be another Ricky Hatton-esque mauling. Devon Alexander has no heart and can't sell a ticket. Berto looked terrible against Ortiz and really doesn't deserve the fight. If he fights Ortiz, people are gonna say he's fighting Floyd's left overs. Martinez at 150 lbs isn't the most legitimate fight because Martinez is likely gonna be weight drained, but hey, you can't expect Manny to go up to middleweight to fight him. Manny struggles to even hit the 147 lbs limit. He's a smallish welterweight, and Martinez is, I guess the way I look at it, a huge jr-middleweight/smallish middleweight.Comment

Well then perhaps you would like to take a stab at it, Top Rank?
"I've said it before and I'll say it again:
Not one ******* on this site can reply here and come up with legitimate reasons for Manny Pacquiao to be rated #1, 2 or even 3. You don't get ranked in the top 3 spots for defeating men who are not ranked among the top 3. It just doesn't make sense.
So in what legitimate way has Pacquiao become a top ranked fighter in boxing?Pacquiao's last legitimate win over a top boxer came over Marquez in 2008!
Where is the rhyme and reason for calling Pacquiao a top boxer?
Defeating men who have star power names doesn't mean they had spots among the top ranked at the point Pacquiao beat them!
Explain this with some logic, *******s!"
Your reply will determine who the dumbasss is, and it isn't looking very good for you, Top Rank.
The ball is in your court. If you cannot answer the above challenge, sit down, shut up and accept your place among the *******ed peasants, you idiot.
ha ha, who did floyd beat to be p4p no1 way back when? He seemed to stay no1 for ducking and diving and retiring. Pac beat barrera, morales and JMM so should have been no1 on paper even if officially he wasnt deemed to be. What top p4p fighters did floyd beat to become no1 by your logic? WHile your at it, what great fighters has Sergio beat as well?
Pac demolished hatton better than Floyd and DLH so is deserving of no1 and everyone knows it.
Floyd seemed to be no1 on the basis he was american. Ducking cotto and margraito also kept him at no1 for some reason.Last edited by hugh grant; 10-30-2011, 07:35 AM.Comment
