I'm surprised so many are against seeing this fight happen when just several months ago, it seemed like everyone wanted to see it. I think it would put Martinez at a huge disadvantage to come down so much in weight but this fight would be interesting as hell and I bet a lot of people would be eager to see it once the fight was signed. There really is no other big fights out there since it looks like Mayweather and Pac will never fight each other.

if Martinez wants to clean out the division he needs to fight Sturm, since Sturm is the number 2 rated fighter at middle weight.

I always thought that Pirog and Jacobs were the best young MW and other guys tought so as well so they were froze out so they fought each other and Pirog won. To me the hell with whatever organization or so called expert says Pirog is the #2 MW. Sturm is the Paulie M. of the MW division. Put him in the ring with a Jacobs or a Pirog and he'll be exposed as such. Martinez does not want to fight any MW or SMW. He wants to fight a guy who is probably to small for the WW divison. Most guys look up for challenges and some look down and Martinez looks down. He doesn't call out anyone in the MW or SMW division but yet he is hunger for JrMW and WW. To me that's a fraud. He should be calling out MW and SMW too. Don't you agree??? Unless I missed something you look in you same division or one divison north or south right??? He wants Pacquiao to fight him a much bigger fighter but he is not even willing to fight a slightly bigger fighter. Pirog or any of the SMW tournament guys. Like I said FRAUD.....
