good point *******s are so phoney and only want pac to fight easy fights. pac ducked yuri forman and hand picked margarito because he has no defense and no foot work. his title at 154 is illegitimate and a hype job.plus he would never fight segio any way as he can box, has good foot work and has decent power. pac will never fight such a fighter.

Hey Martinez instead of looking for a 5'6 1/2" WW who never weighed in above 145 for a fight. Why not fight an undefeated champion in your divison Pirog. I heard Pirog will fight Martinez at 160. This dude is a fraud. Williams and Pavlik were made for him. Hopkins showed that footwork kills Pavlik and straight punches kills Williams ala Quitana and Lara. Martinez look like **** when fighting a MW with decent skills not to mention he was busted up. His two previous fights before this last one were against 154 pounders. The guy whos name started with a D moved up to 160 and the Williams rematch was at a cathweight of 157 or 158 I can't remember but I know it was a catch weight. Martinez should clean out his divison a fight Pirog and then start looking for WW.

if Martinez wants to clean out the division he needs to fight Sturm, since Sturm is the number 2 rated fighter at middle weight.

I don't know if I've ever seen a fighter as desperate as Sergio. The odd thing about it is he has options, lucrative ones. Pirog, a real MW, who he wouldn't have to starve himself against offered him what amounts to double his career best payday, he turned that down. Lucian Bute offered him a CW fight at 164 which is more than fair- one guy has to lose 4 lbs and the other guy can gain 4 or just come in whatever weight he feels comfortable at. Plenty of money in that fight if it happens in Canada, Bute is a megastar in his hometown.
