larry you are making a NOOB mistake in your analysis. . . Jones, despite being more shot than toney as you point out, utilizes a COMPLETELY different style, and possesses a completely different skill-set. . . Jones is still much fleeter of hand and foot even at this stage of his career, and he was fighting lebedev off the back-foot, and using EVERY inch of the ring by getting on his still pretty fleet wheels and moving. . . He kept Lebedev from planting his feet and throwing hte big left. . He kept making him switch directions. . . and had him plodding forward chasing him around all night.

TONEY, HOWEVER, will be standing in the pocket trying to pick shots off, and thus allowing Lebedev to PLANT his feet, and release combinations along with the big left hammer. . . And I just don't think Toney has the stamina or the power to hurt Lebedev. . . He will certainly snap his head back a time or two, but Lebedev will outwork him, and NO WAY Toney is winning a close decision in Russia. . .

    LEBEDEV UD. . .

It all depends on how the weight affects Toney, because we all know a younger fit Toney would toy with Lebedev. I hope the weight loss will benefit to Toney who has been fighting way too heavy for many years.

I think Toney has at least one great fight left in him, and if he does, Lebedev will take a beating. I already got 10 millions worthless points on Toney.

Toney really will have to put on a sub-prime performance to realistically win this fight...

In all reality, as much as I want Toney to win... he will most likely lose a 9-3 type fight... and will undoubtedly have a few highlight reel moments in the fight, but unless he knocks out Lebedev, he will have a tough time keeping up the pace enough to actually win a decision in Russia throughout 12 rounds.

A shot RJJ went 10 rounds with him, and RJJ has no chin anymore. Toney has never been knocked out and will not be in this fight. This will be target practice.

                  Easy fight...

You guys are hilarious...Lebedev is a bum, he has never been in the ring with someone with the same skill as Toney. He isn't no HW thats 230-250lbs. Toney is back down to his productive/effective weight. This guy Lebedev is slow and crude, he is 32 years old, he has 23 fights. Toney has more KOs than this dude has fights. Toney was the CW king. Toney is going to surprise a lot of people. This guy couldn't even knock out the feather chinned(current) RJJ until the end of the last round. His only chance to beat Toney is to knock him out which we all know isn't going to happen. Toneys superior defense and boxing skills are going to make this guy look just as average as he is.

The only way Toney loses this fight is on a robbery.
