Lebedev had broken ribs and he still won by brutal KO. He did much better against Jones than Hopkins did.

Lebedev by TKO, James Toney is gonna quit after taking some serious punishment

It's hard for me to picture the fight in my head because Toney hasn't been fighting in a while, but I really think this will resemble Toney-Jirov in some ways...with Toney getting outworked being a strong possibility.

Lebedev isn't as fast or as busy as Jirov, but I have to imagine Toney will head toward the ropes and allow Lebedev to try to get happy loading up and his left hand and counter Denis when he misses that shot. Toney will really only be paying attention to that left hand IMO and will make sure to avoid and counter with clean shots when it misses. Denis is going to have to take some clean shots in exchanges to win this, but as long as he doesn't fade he should be in position to win it on points.

It's completely dependent on what Toney has left in the tank... If he's still got movement, and can let his hands go, he can most definitely win... but if he can't let his hands go he will be outworked..
