ESPN First Take discussing Bob Arum's comments.

The same people who said Floyd will never fight Martinez, are the same people who said Floyd was scared of Mosley so I don't subscribe to that.the extra testing is the real issue , atleast thats what floyd wants the public to believe...then drop it!....if there is something that is bloking your way?..what do you do?...get rid of it, it's that simple...it's even worse that floyd is the one providing that roadblock...just get rid of it...very ****ing simple.....the truth is floyd does'nt want none, thats why he needs that excuse to keep ducking pac
and youre dreaming if you think floyd will fight sergio at mw, floyd lacks balls remember?...is'nt the the best that describes him?...
Manny came up fighting on Floyd's undercards dude, and it's audacious to even suggest dropping a test that professional sports leagues like the NFL, MLB, Tennis and European media sports conglomerates push for, have in place and support.
I can't believe I live in a society where a group of people can argue for and against the same issue in the same breath. If Pacquiao signed a contract to take the tests and fight Floyd, we would have had the fight already instead of what we have now. Bob Arum is now saying the fight will never happen, just like he said Manny will never agree to Floyds demands in the past.
But it's Floyd who doesn't want the fight by your logic?
That doesn't make any sense.Last edited by The Nature Boy; 10-27-2011, 11:50 AM.Comment

From the very beginning it's been a GO from the Mayweather side, but only cleverly crafted statements and rhetoric from Pacquiao's side.
Mayweather agreed to terms for the welterweight title bout on Tuesday, multiple sources with knowledge of the negotiations told ESPN.com.
The proposed date is March 13, although there is a chance it could move to May 1, sources said. Mayweather, according to a source close to him, is OK with either date.
and
Top Rank's Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs), was flying to the Philippines on Tuesday night to meet with Pacquiao and try to close his side of the deal.
Arum spent much of Tuesday getting open issues resolved in his negotiations with Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, who represents Mayweather, sources said. Once Arum was able to do that, he left for the Philippines and is expected back on Monday.

I only asked you simple questions... where is the contract that floyd said he will show? Did floyd said he will show it? Did floyd said before Ortiz fight Pac is next and after the fight he said he did not say that? From the very beginning it's been a GO from the Mayweather side, but only cleverly crafted statements and rhetoric from Pacquiao's side.

Floyd says a lot of things, but it wouldn't matter because even if he produced it, people like yourself would still dispute it. What I posted is an clear example that the Mayweather camp was the side pushing the fight forward, and clearly by that article Arum wouldn't be flying to the Phillipines unless he had a signed contract by Mayweather only needing Mannys signature.I only asked you simple questions... where is the contract that floyd said he will show? Did floyd said he will show it? Did floyd said before Ortiz fight Pac is next and after the fight he said he did not say that?

Manny and Arum have refuted several statements suggesting they signed to fight Floyd in the past, and to this day have never suggested they will.Comment

Yea, man. Not only that, but they believe that Manny is juicing just like they accuse the "***** bumsniffs" of doing it.Now Floyd needs to drop the test request after Manny walked away in the 11th hour of negotiations, but yet he keeps saying "testing is not a issue"...SMH
For your sake let's just hope Martinez doesn't get his green MW belt back from Chavez Jr in the 1st quarter of next year, because if Manny keeps playing games Martinez will be defending that strap against Floyd.
Floyd winning the lineal Middleweight Championship > Mayweather/Pacquiao.
Manny needs Floyd more than he thinks...Comment

Skip should be ashamed.
He says that if Floyd is the defensive wizard he thinks he is, then he should fight Pac anyway even if Pac is on roids.
If that doesn't prove that the media could care less about steroids in boxing, nothing will.
They b1tch and moan about barry bonds and baseball players cheating, but steroids are ok in combat sports.
**** the media and Pac fans.
If I was Floyd I would never fight Pac without random testing.
Call Floyd a b1tch, a duck, a chicken or whatever you want.
He gets paid more money than any media guy or Pac fan.
After all these years talking about this fight..........you still got idiots like wilbon and skip calling Floyd scared while ignoring the fact that Pac has yet to take one legit test.
I never listen to these media idiots anyway because they only watch boxing when May and Pac fight.
Yeah Floyd your a tough guy with great defence.
Fight Pac even if he is on something.
