Watch he will probably have a fight with Martinez by the end of next year for the title just by his name and then get knocked out again.

Yeah, I call it the "Knockout Cherry." Once a fighter get KO'd badly, like 99% of them usually have a sketchy chin afterwards(RJJ,Taylor,Hearns, etc.) Guys like Campbell,Duran, and Pacquiao are some of the few in the 1%. Always sad to see that cherry popped though.

Haven't we hear this before? Look out for the following words up to fight night:

            - He needed the rest
            - He is hungry and dedicated
            - Best Training Camp
            - Perfect match with new trainer (if there is someone new) or
            - I went back to my original trainer and became the old good taylor
            - He is more mature
            - Gone back to basic and fundamental
            - 160 is my real weight and with new dietician and strength trainer can make weight easy
            - I'm ready for all top dogs or
            - Never felt better

Please feel free to add other cliches made by worn out worries on the comeback trailer!

jermain might be my favorite fighter of all time and i was calling for his retirement as loud as anybody else

but he does look in shape

most of the guys who are harping nonsense and coming back for the money aren't looking to be in the best physical condition of their careers

he wasnt this ripped when he was a prospect.

word is that he never ate like a fighter, hated roadwork, and disliked very much to be in the gym

now he looks to have grown up some

i'm still for his retirement, certainly, but that's really not my call.

Now if they can get that fluid off his brain that would help him make weight.

1.) Being "ripped" does not equal = "boxing" shape or "boxing" stamina. . . I don't see how he could be anymore "ripped" this time around. . . He's always looked in EXCELLENT shape.

2.) Taylor has always looked in excellent physical shape from his first KO loss against Pavlik to his last KO loss against Abraham.

3.) All those excuses you are giving, and reasons you are stating, were all supposedly "addressed and corrected" after his first KO loss to Pavlik. . . And they were CERTAINLY supposedly "fixed" going into the Abraham fight. . .

4.) However, like you, I am a HUGE Taylor fan. . . And I agree with you about "growing up", maybe this time off has given him time to really reflect on his career and what, IF ANY mistakes he was making in preparation and training camp. He and I have a lot in common. . . We are both southern gentleman who enjoy fishing, family, and boxing! I wish him ALL THE LUCK and I would love to see him make a successful comeback! And I think 160 is the right weight.

Taylor was being competitive in ALL OF HIS losses, though! He was beating up on Froch worse than anybody else has. . .
