    Tito a moron?

Sure Tito has millions but why the **** didnt he fight Oscar again?

How many mill did he get for fighting jab master winky wright? I no there was a dispute with percentages as to how much him and Oscar were to both recieve but ****in "A" it would have been by mother****ing far his biggest career payday.

Why did Tito turn away from this fight?

Sure we will hear the view that Oscar would have outclassed Tito and made him look bad...but what do the Tito fans believe?

Why turn down a mountain of money-why did 30 million dollars just not interest him?

Maybe he figured that he has more than enough money to live his life as is.

    Who knows?!

But he really owes is to DLH to give him that win on DLH's record

Because he knew he lost the first fight, but he will go down in history as beating him. He knew he was going to loose again and that would have unmade all the glory he got from his first fight with Oscar.

The real reason is because Delahoya didn't want to give into the demands of the original contract. The original contract stated that the purses would be switched and Don King would promote the event instead of Arum at the time. To me most of the blame goes on Delahoya.

Before Tito retired the first time he wanted to fight the winner of the Delahoya/Vargas fight and neither one of them showed any interest in fighting him. It wasn't until after he retired that Delahoya went after a rematch. Then when Tito decided to comeback he was supposed to fight Delahoya but Oscar refused every contract that was presented to him because he wanted the bigger purse. Once that fight fell through Tito went after Mosley but then Mosley lost to Winky. That's why he ended up giving Mayorga his beating.

Delahoya never really wanted the rematch he just wanted to cash in on one more big paycheck.

Even beyond the question of fighting Oscar again... is he a moron for engaging in possibly the most repetitive fight of all time? Tito goes forward... gets hit with Winky's jab... Tito goes forward...

Why didn't he at least try and duck or something??

This is a good answer not to mention he does not want to retire losing 2 in a row.......Although if he lost a they did it a third time people would watch yet again and they could make even more.

i have to dis -agree with you here tito might of lost the 1st. fight but a re-match would not of took place at 147 it would of been at 154-160 tito did better at both of those weights than dlh ...tito would of have the advantage in a re-match , tito by k.o if this fight were to happen between 154-160..

Maybe it had more to do with management then Tito and DLH just going at it for 30 million. I don't really see ANY fighter turning down numbers like that.

agreed, im suprised tito faced the methodical and technical winky wright
tito was the favorite, but it seemed like a mismatch in my eyes
