    floyd already retired 3 times

Would be more than that but he switched retirement with vacation.

If they don't fight each other, neither are worthy to be compared to oscar in that sense. Another thing Floyd is trying to command bigger ppv money in a shaby economy, single handedly trying to kill the sport.
I normally get your point but what does this got to do with toppling OScar as Numero Uno PPV Star?

and you have to remember PAC was co-heading PPV since Pac-Morales 1, that means he fought Barera and Juan Ma at their peaks and I could simply say that this 3 can compete with with any 3 you can pick on delahoya's resume not to mention PAC has Win on all 3 ...

but I do agree that they should fight each other before they could claim the throne...

I don't know. Oscar fought the best out there with very few catch weights and demands. I think he remains on top.

You're forgetting one thing about Oscar...he had cross-gender appeal (not just in fishnets)...he is a very good looking guy and women loved him...whereas with Floyd being black and Manny looking like a ******ed mongoloid, they will never appeal to women like that. If Khan were from Philly, maybe he could captivate the female viewers like that.

The top 3 as it stand at the moment.

                1. Oscar De La Hoya - $610.6 million on 12.6 million buys (18 events)

                2. Mike Tyson - $545 million on 12.4 million buys (12 events)

                3. Evander Holyfield - $543 million on 12.6 million buys (14 events)

Tyson and Holyfield can both claim to be a bigger attraction than Oscar, but this is about who brings home the bacon.

I still think if Pacquiao fights 4/5 more fights he will topple Oscar.

Floyd fights a fight a year if that, don't think he will fight into his 40s so highly unlikely that he will be able to topple Oscar.

If Floyd ever fights Pacqauio, he will most definately hold the number 1 and 2 positions in the most PPV's sold ever....he will aslo be the only fighter to compete in 2 fights that went over 2 millions PPV buys....
