There wasn't that much su****ion with Tyson or other explosive fighters. Even known abusers like Mosley and Vargas weren't all that much with their proven power ups. All this PED su****ion crap became popular when a certain pound for pound boxer lost his manhood at the thought of losing to a midget. Those who also lost their marbles followed their idol to boost that hype.

The thing is that Tyson was a natural heavyweight. He didn't move up 5-6 weightclasses. And who's to say? Maybe Tyson was on something (although I don't think think he was). Vargas, he never won a significant fight after he was caught juicing. Trinidad never won a significant fight after he was caught with illegal hand wraps. With Mosely, I don't have much to say. All I know is that he is a known cheater... All I'm saying is that it's not normal for a fighter to go up multiple weightclasses and maintain, much less, gain power. I'll say it again. It'll just depends if Nonito beats the 122-126 pounders by using his boxing skills and wins by decision or wins by devastating knock outs.

Nonito should be just fine, he is still tall and rangy for 122 or 126 so I don't see him having many issues he can't overcome with his style, but he will certainly have some more interesting challenges in those classes.

Obviously, Nonito has the skills and can easily fight at a higher weight. He has improvement to look into however. But it's interesting with your reasoning for the fighters discussed. Pac and Mayweather were pretty much identical in terms of their weight and age timeline, but for some reason a natural gift for a power punch doesn't apply in this case. Also, according to your logic, I wonder how Mayweather and others in the same boat would do should they stop using xylocaine-like substances (especially when Mayweather wants a fair fight if I recall correctly).

It's one thing to go up in weight when you're an up an comer (or about 21 through about 25); it's a completely different thing to go up in weight when you're 28, 29, 30 and keep you're speed and power. It's just not normal... I'm definitely not gonna say that Nonito is on PEDs; however, if he keeps knocking people out at 122 and 126 like he has at 112-118, then you atleast have to become su****ious.
And of course you will have your evidence when you accuse Donaire also right? Or just blanket all Filipino fighters as PED users already. Wow some people! But Fraud does the same thing and noone is su****ious of him using PEDS? c'omon man!

I'm not condoning Mayweather's use of xylocaine. As a matter of fact, I don't condone much of what he does (in and out of the ring). All he does is fight people he knows he can beat. I'll repeat it one last time. All I'm saying is that going up multiple weight classes and keeping/gaining power is not normal... You can make all the arguments you want about Mayweather and Pacquiao's weight, but the fact is that Mayweather is not really a big puncher at 147. He's very average. Pacquiao is a huge puncher at 147. How's that possible? How is it possible for Mosely, a guy who's been in there with ODLH, Vargas, R. Marquez, Margarito, Cotto, Mayorga, Wright, and Forrest, say that Pacquiao is the hardest puncher he's ever fought? "Pacquiao's power was special," said Mosely. How's that possible?

first of all , pac is not your normal fighter, he is a once in a lifetime type of fighter, that is why people are amazed of what he has done. but to even imply it is impossibe for him to achieve what he has achived without using peds is ridiculouss unless you consider him the greatest fighter who ever lived.

second, pac being the hardest puncher shane has ever fought is shane's opinion not a fact. hoya who also fought pacquaio did not think he hits that hard. david diaz who also fought pac did not think he hit that hard, he said he was just "so ****ing fast". that's two againts one right there

Also, why the hell is Victor Conte allowed within 200 yards of any athlete, let alone being paid to be a strength & conditioning coach/nutritionist? Guy should be in prison or at the very least barred from anything related to athletes or training.
I completely agree..Conte needs to stay away from athletes. Why are boxers around him with his tainted past?

NO more defensive fighters please. Specially for Pacquiao and Nonito. No more Clotteys, Mosleys and Narvaez. They are boring and have no heart.
