I was looking forward to this fight.

I will say that B-Hop didn't look to have taken all that much impact to his shoulder on the fall, and that he is a faker and likes to roll around on the ground like a soccer player trying to draw a foul.

Dawson had every right to get Hopkins off his back. He was trying to set the tone early. "No B-hop, this isn't MMA, and you will not be lunging in after every punch and trying to jump on my back."

I think like everyone else, I admire what B-hop has done to stay in the game but at the same time, would love to see him get humbled one last time. I don't know why this fight was ever a PPV in the first place btw. I can only hope that if there was a rematch that it wouldn't be either.

Bernard Hopkins may not be a coward, but he is definitely a disgrace to boxing.

If Hop is a legend just cause he won titles being old as ****, I say that's sorta a fail for his career

Bernard did sorta embarass himself last Saturday night but that doesn't totally erase what he's done in the sport...Bernard is a certified hall of famer and one of the best to put on a pair...

You mean his 20 MW title defenses during a 10 year reign of dominance? Yeah I see your point, becoming a multi-time lineal championship two divisions north, including the second time at 46 and thereby becoming the oldest man in history to do so, really is a fail for the rest of his career isn't it.

I used to be a big fan of Bernard Hopkins because he was a crafty fighter who knew how to dissect his opponents mentally and physically. He lives a clean lifestyle and treats his body like a temple. His discipline is insane.

I still respect him outside the ring. But inside the ring, he is an old man that manipulates the rules of the sport and fouls a hell of a lot more than he used to. I would say most of his wins late in his career were a direct benefit from his various fouls and leading with his head.

BHop's fights have gotten more and more boring because of his ****ty style. And if he's facing a pure boxer like Dawson, we will get a result like this every time!!

People have been complaining for so long that Dawson is too quiet and has no charisma then when he's vocal they still complain.

Dawson was ducked for years by Hopkins and finally when he gets his chance it ends controversially in a way he feels Hopkins quit and took away his chance to put on a long awaited performance.

I'm genuinely not suprised at all with his comments.

Not really, Hopkins fakes injury so much its hard to blame anybody for not believing him this time, all of his acting and whining makes it hard to take him serious. i was embarassed for him watching the Calzaghe and Jones 2 fights. Hes also very dirty so when an opponent lets him know they are not going to put up with his dirty fighting it looks good on him, hes always the dirty fighter but when he gets fouled he cries about it EVERY time and acts like he got shot or stabbed. Even the biggest Hopkins fan cant deny this and for some reason its cool for him to do this type of stuff but if it was another fighter faking injury (or stopping a fight with a legit injury for that matter) they would be labeled a quitter or a coward.

I watched the fight and Bernard didn't do anything wrong. Can't understand many of your comments. He was boxing and got tackled. Chad is a huge ***** that continues whinning!!
