I haven't heard Martinez say anything about 147. He has repeatedly said he can't go below 150 and so this 147 talk is insane. Martinez knows or should know Pac can't get to 154 and Pac knows Martinez can't get to 147. Seriously, this talk about them fighting is ******ed.

Looking at serious challenges at 154 pounds…

I mean, seriously man, how the hell can he be a natural welterweight if he hasn't weighed 147 in 10 years. Martinez's trainer is ******ed for making that statement because I don't think its even possible for Martinez to safely cut that much weight, especially since its been 10 years and he's 36. Most of that weight would be muscle mass. Hey man, Martinez is an idiot for even thinking about fighting Pac but Pac is an idiot also if he thinks Martinez can get down to 147.

Looking at Martinez size and build, I would agree that 147lbs will be too much to cut for him. Still think he can make 154lbs, and at 150lbs he will be hurt by it but no more than Pacquiao making up the extra weight.

Martinez should be looking to fight JCC jr, Pirog, Alvarez, Lara, Macklin winner of Marg vs Cotto, maybe even Quillin. There are fights out there for him but if all he is going to do is call out welters then he has not arguement when one of them say if you want it make 147lbs especially when they are the draw.

Sergio Martinez has been calling out Manny Pacquiao and was making noise about his willingness to fight. Martinez is way heavier than Manny Pacquiao and it is insane for a person that big to challenge a person who is smaller than him. Manny Pacquiao's walking weight is 147 and will be comfortable fighting anybody in that division. If Martinez is not bluffing...he should come down to 147 lbs. and then call out Manny Pacquiao to fight him. If Sergio Martinez can not do it then he should just shut up.
