the problem is, pac has said before testing was no problem and he accepts unlimited testing. only to say unlimited urine testing with a 14 day cut off(down from 24) for blood testing. then recently buboy was saying no unlimited testing. thats not something he would come up with on his own. so until pac signs a contract with ost, i wouldnt believe anything he says. him and top stank has went back and forth on the issue for too long. and its documented.

aqnd top stank still has not revealed the ppv #s for pac vs mosley. and we know why. im hearing 400,000 ppv sales and arum dont want to look bad as floyd is doing i million plus on his ppv with ortiz and other fights. there is a reason pac only fights in house fights.

first let me say good post. my problem is the number of good fighters pac avoided. for example, joan guzman,casamayor, frietas, juan diaz, katsidis,humberto soto(who called pac out and was still ignored)valero,nate cambell,ric juarez,zahir raheem and anthony peterson. just to name a few. i would have loved to see pac vs casamayor. but casamayor is the type of fighter pac avoided his whole career. there were many good fights for pac. but insted he took the safe rout and fought old barrera and el terrible (4) times. even after he beat the old dudes he still didnt take a risky fight. you know you would have loved to see pac vs nate cambell. but nate was too strong and could box so roach avoided him. the same with the baby bull, he through fast combos and could take a punch so he was avoided. i get pissed when i hear the bought and paid for hbo anouncers say pac fought everybody because he didnt. while you are right they caint fight every one. pac could at least fought some of these dudes.

Problem is, he generally took bigger fights against what were probably better fighters. 122 was loaded when he was there. But, he moved up to fight Barerra, who wass about third or fourth on the P4P list, for the featherweight title. I've always been hard on Pac for taking the Morales rematch instead of fighting Raheem, who had just beaten El Terrible. That said, Morales was for bigger money and Raheem turned right around and loss to "Popo" Freitas. He would have taken the third fight with JMM immediately after the rematch. But hey, everyone deserves a gimmie every now and then, which David Diaz was. After that, I don't see any issues with his choices of opponents out side of his last three (Mosley, Margarito, Clottey.) But even there, who was he gonna fight outside of jr welterweights because he and Money can't work their deal out.

Who's do you think gives more for Pac's credentials?

A fight with Morales and Barrera or with those people you mentioned? Even hard core fans wouldn't entertain those fights.

How many does call Pac for a fight? Even the Klitchko's called Pac in a funny manner when they were interviewed.

why not fight juan diaz insted of david or nate cambell or any of the guys i mentioned. he could have fought vivian harris, witter, lazcano,kendal holt, collazo, zab judah, he fought mosley after they turned him down twice. and i do have a problem with all the in house fights. they just smell wrong IMO. he could have fought a number of credible fighter insted of fighting soup cans. even the margarito fight was a farce. they fought for the 154lb strap when neither man ever fought at that wt. and he refused to fight yuri forman for the 154lb strap insted conjuring up margarito who was suspended. you have to admit that smell foul.

All reasons why this fight hasn't been made, aside. I have never in my lifetime, seen two fighters in the same weight class, trading #1 P4P spots back to back, and don't fight. It's amazing. Sure, neither wants to bend down for the other, and I understand that it's just not as easy as signing a contract and that's it, with the Mayweather/DLH/Haymon vs Arum feud. It's a hard fight to make. But still, damn, two fighters in the same weight class for like 3 years, trading #1 P4P spots with eachother. When one isn't the #1 P4P, it's the other one. And they can't make a fight. If they can't make a fight now, that they're very close to becoming old[34 going to 35, 32 going to 33 respectively]. These are advanced age for a boxer. The average boxer gives us his last good performance in his early 30s. These two are going to their mid 30s and both have shown signs of decline.

but ken when floyd does it you call it ducking. and floyd has said he came back to fight pac. and we all know who walked away from the first round of negotiation to fight(already had a signed contract while talking to floyd) clottey. so who really is ducking?
