Hmm when did Angulo become this beast that everybody is scared of? Has the Cintron-Angulo fight been wiped off everyone's memory?

That's just one fight. Anybody can lose on any given night. Angulo can definitely be outboxed, but it takes someone with a great chin and great stamina. Angulo vs Kirkland should be a fun fight. Angulo vs Alvarez, at this point, will probably be too advantageous for Angulo. Either way, we all know GB will not put Alvarez in there with Angulo right now. They want his body and chin to ripen up a bit more.

you are an ignorant. Don't make ****** comments. Everyone knows that Angulo was sick; he still fought good, chasing cintron all the time, being hugged allbrhe time, was never hurt, was turning cintron's face into a mess, and finished stronger. cintron was easily defeated by molina. angulo would kill molina and cintron in a rematch. people prefer angulo, no one likes cintron. duh.

No I think it's more of a case he was overrated. He's just a scrappy brawler with no chin, not that I think Angulo is much better but at least he's got a chin & occasionally throws a jab out there.

I'm curious did you see the Cintron/Angulo fight? because it wasn't as if Cintron completely dominated and destroyed Angulo.

It was a close fight that in the end Cintron won, and to his credit really deserved the fight. But Angulo did not get dominated and in fact was closing stronger than Cintron. Cintron just locked in a lot of early rounds.

Angulo is respecting his promoters and will wait patiently for the big fights that I'm sure he was promised. At 154, it's wide open and Angulo will be a tough match-up for anyone(IMO, Lara and Molina have what it takes to beat him).

GBP won't sign Angulo-Canelo until they and TR cash in on the Canelo-JCCjr fight.

Cintron schooled Angulo. End of story.

I don't think a ton of Canelo, but I think he is wrongly being looped in with Chavez Jr. as an unskilled joke. I don't agree with that. I think Angulo beats Kirkland (a maybe), and then IF they fight....I see Angulo as the favored fighter. I don't think it will be a whitewash at all. I honestly see it as a competitive fight, albeit one that Angulo wins.

If Kirkland were to win, I see the same result from the Canelo-Kirkland fight.

I don't think Canelo is a monster by any stretch, but I think he has more skill and certainly more balls than Chavez Jr. and he seems to actually wanna fight and improve. As usual, though....as we all seem to agree on in this post....Golden Boy is scared to out him in too tough at this stage of his career.....gotta do it sometime, guys....
