I am deadly serious here & I feel it has to be said. So Donaire is like 4" taller than this guy with a God only knows how many inch reach advantage, this guy goes up a division, then Donaire goes & rehydrates and was 131lbs and that was reported this morning. He stated on his own Twitter ''I am 131lbs with 3 meals to go''
So basically, he was at light welter when he stepped into that ring, making him 5 full weight divisions above! 6 if you count the fact that Narvarez came up from super flyweight!
Now I am not being funny here but I am not fcuking surprised the guy hid behind a high-guard for majority of the fight!!!
I know it's often seemingly a bit hard for the fake assed glory glory boxing supporters to understand, you know the type that have only heard of Donaire, Manny & Floyd & claim to be die-hard fans but that is a fcuking bull**** move on Donaires part & everyone involved!
You can not blame Narvarez, blame your idol for being such a ***** and begging for such a ridiculous mismatch then trying to justify his actions & saying it was a stern test & all that crap.
I am not a Donaire hater, I like the kid, a lot. But that this fight was a load of bull from day one! We all knew it was so why whinge over it?
Fair play to Narvarez, he didn't dive or take an easy way out & made it competitive for majority of the first half!
He went the distance & will likely receive decent paydays, good on the guy, I hope he gets them and does well!
