Welterweight Tournament (Last 40 years or so)

I put my top 16 Wleterweights since 1970 or so in a tournament. I will not play it out. Single elimination, just like the NCAA tournament, with seeding and everything. I went by how good each were at the weight, as well as what they accomplished at Welterweight. Assume each fighter is at their absolute best at Wleterweight. How does it playout???

    1) Sugar Ray Leonard vs. 16) Carlos Palomino

    8) Shane Mosley vs. 9) Roberto Duran

    5) Oscar De La Hoya vs. 12) Miguel Cotto

    4) Thomas Hearns vs. 13) Antonio Margarito

    6) Manny Pacquiao vs. 11) Vernon Forrest

    3) Pernell Whitaker vs. 14) Jose Napoles

    7) Floyd Mayweather vs. 10) Wilfred Benitez

    2) Felix Trinidad vs. 15) Paul Williams

I was with you all the way until that last one, Tito kills Paul. Also, Whitaker and Floyd face VERY VERY tough tasks, VERY.

I know where you're coming from but I think that one would be the upset. I'm not sure how tall Paul was during his WW days but I'm assuming his reach was much longer then Tito's and that would be the difference.

                  5-OSCAR DE LA HOYA

                  6) Manny Pacquiao vs. 11) Vernon Forrest
                  6-PACQUAIO

                  7) Floyd Mayweather vs. 10) Wilfred Benitez
                  7-MAYWEATHER

                  1) Leonard-Duran (Leonard)
                  2) Trinidad-Mayweather (Maywaether)

                  1) Leonard-Hearns
                  2) Mayweather-Pacquiao

                  Finals Options

                  Leonard-Pacquaio, Leonard-Mayweather or Hearns-Pacquiao, Hearns-Mayweather...

As a pacquiao fan, I would let manny win but Leonard and Hearns have big size advantage over manny so its either Leonard or Hearns, me leaning more to Sugar Ray to win the tournament...

                    1st RD:
                    LEONARD over Palomino
                    DURAN over Mosley
                    DE LA HOYA over Cotto
                    HEARNS over Margarito
                    PACQUIAO over Forrest
                    WHITAKER over Napoles
                    MAYWEATHER over Benitez
                    TRINIDAD over Willaims

Best 1st RD fight: De La Hoya-Cotto or Pacquiao-Forrest

                    Quarterfinals:
                    LEONARD over Duran
                    DE LA HOYA over Hearns
                    WHITAKER over Pacquiao
                    MAYWEATHER over Trinidad

                    Best Quarterfinal fight: Whitaker-Pacquiao

                    Semi-Finals:
                    LEONARD over De La Hoya
                    MAYWEATHER over Whitaker

Best Semi-Fianl fight: Leonard-De La Hoya

                    Finals:
                    LEONARD over Mayweather

If the seeding were different, the outcome may be different in my mind as well. Styles make fights. Mayweather would have possibly the toughest road (Benitez, Trinidad, Whitaker), so he may not have made it. Being a Floyd fan, I see him winning those fights, but they could easily have gone the other way.
