I like Nonito more all the time. Besides being very talented, he's a thinking man's fighter. Donaire tempered his comments about Gamboa's flaws with the observation that "sometimes you see flaws and you can't react to them" and "it's different in that ring." That's real talk. Too many fans think fighters are machines that only need to do this or that to bring home the win. A given fighter might not be able the execute the best game plan in the world. Like Mike Tyson once said, "Everybody's got a plan, until they get hit...."

He'd probably have more issues fighting Juanma than Gamboa. For the simple reason that he would probably take a longer time to figure out the technical boxer than a person who will rush head first into a counter hook.

too early to tell what nonito's chances will be against gamboa. let him move up to 122 first and see if he can dominate. besides by the time he's ready to move up to 126 i don't think gamboa will still be there.

Have you seen his fights lately, Who rush head first? I don't think you are talking about Gamboa, Gamboa is a very good boxer when he needs to b you haven't seen the best of him, Donaire could stop at 122 and fight Rigondeaux he might need a liver transplant once the fight is over.

Gamboa is aggressive and blitzes opponents. If you don't know that then you obviously haven't been watching him.

Gamboa is fast and all but I think Donaire would make him pay for that hands down style he has. Also Donaire is two inches taller and may have slightly more reach than Gamboa. It's a tough fight to call but if the fight were to happen in two years and if Gamboa doesn't close that defense of his, I'd give this fight to Donaire.
