A rematch would be awesome, but I think Shaw would argue that DeMarco would have to get paid very handsomely for it to happen (and rightfully so, in my opinion). That in itself will probably make it hard to make... Even though I also believe the fight was stopped a tad prematurely, I don't think the WBC will rule in favor of Golden Boy this time. Regardless of whether some think it was stopped on time and some prematurely, two things are absoloutely certain: it wasn't the worst stoppage to ever happen (by far), and Linares did not complain at all when the reff did stop it!!!

not really. when de marco landed a big punch linares fired back. linares mistake was he didn't try to play it safe during the 11th. But i would love to see a rematch happen.

buncha sore losers at wild card they only have a one-hit wonder over there which is pac, all the smack talk and roids, wasnt enough to beat demarco plain and simple, if they rematch demarco will beat his azz again, demarco stops him easier in a rematch more confidence, and more scar tissue. these guys have to get used to the fact that they dont have the only good trainers or fighters theres plenty of fighter that will beat down pac , they are starting to beleive their own padded record and hype applies to every fighter they have, .welcome to reality guys.8 time champeen my azzzz......

I'm not trying to put Linares down by any means, I respect him and all fighters who are willing to fight through adversity, in this case severe cuts, but I believe that even if Caiz let them finish the round DeMarco lands a couple more solid shots and Linares wouldn't be able to answer the bell for the 12th. Linares is a great fighter but his will was simply broken.

it was a good stoppage. if the ref let the beating continue, linares would have been hurt really bad. Let them fight someone else and have the rematch later down the road.
