Stamina? For what?
Like I told you already running at a steady pace is an aerobic activity, which builds up stamina for other aerobic activities. Boxing is an anaerobic activity so steady paced running will not build up stamina for boxing.
Sprints are more beneficial but more could be done rather then only sprints.
