    There's nothing that tells me, that at 37 years old, heavier than he's ever been... Marquez is going to be "at his best"... fighting a guy who has been fighting guys at welterweight for 2 years against opponents that outweigh him by 15 lbs on the regular, and subsequently beating the **** out of them.

    I understand the style matchup... but Marquez isn't gonna be able to keep up like he could at 126 and 130.

      Somehow i think J MM will do better than people think, because people get up for Pac like no other. JMM knows he has to be in tip top shape.

      But i still think Pac will finsih JMM this time as well.

          No one really has answer for that other than assuming Pac will be able to hit him again and again if necessary. I agree odds are Reed's hypothesis will prove correct. But I don't think it's 100% out of the realm of possibilities that we see a welter weight version of the second matchup.

            Marquez got dropped and tagged plenty by Michael Katsidis. Michael Katsidis. He's going to get bent over at welter by Pacquiao.

              JMM has to be at his physical best and smartest for this fight.

              IF, IF, JMM comes out to box Pac, he will have a better chance to last into the later rounds {He will not win but he also won't get KO'ed early}

              If he comes out there full of fire and determined to prove that he's the better of the two and the first two fights should have been given to him -- then Pac will make short work of JMM and he can retire without a doubt that Pac won the third fight.

                marquez has always needed to warm into a fight, and he's not going to be afforded that luxory against a welterweight manny pacquiao. he barely made it out of the first few rounds alive back in the lower weights where he's comfortable. he's way out of his depth at welterweight against a predator like pacman.

                  I think Pacquiao will start slower than when he fought Marquez the last two times. I bet he's going to try and drag it out to at least the 7th or 9th before he goes in for a knock out.

                    I'm assuming you think he has a reason for doing that?
