    - CAMPS FIRED UP - Manny Pacquiao training to "kill Marquez"!

The man who has watched boxers prepare for fights since the 1960s approached the trainer of the sport's current king and expressed some cautionary words.

    "Slow him down" Arum repeated.

Almost from the moment the fight was announced, there have been concerns about properly pacing Pacquiao, who didn't even wait for the introductory news conference in the Philippines to start running.

Pacquiao, 32, is telling those close to him he doesn't want this fight in the hands of the judges after his prior battles with Marquez resulted in a 2004 draw and a 2008 Pacquiao victory by split-decision.

He wants the knockout, and Roach says, "That's what we're training him for."

"He wants to be as big as he was against Miguel Cotto," Ariza said.

"...he just wants to kill Marquez."

Wow :| this fight is shaping up to be a war. This is going to be crazy. Both sides working and training harder than they ever have and both sides want it bad. Marquez is now training with proper nutritionists and conditioning coach and is looking the most incredible he has looked in 10 years. Pacquiao is training like an animal. This is going to be one not to miss. Perfect setting for the ending of an amazing trilogy.

It will be a historic night.

All the words and interviews in the world doesn't change the fact that in his last 3 fights, he has two wins at LW over limited fighters, and a single win over a nobody at 140, and one loss at welterweight.

There's nothing that tells me, that at 37 years old, heavier than he's ever been... Marquez is going to be "at his best"... fighting a guy who has been fighting guys at welterweight for 2 years against opponents that outweigh him by 15 lbs on the regular, and subsequently beating the **** out of them.

I understand the style matchup... but Marquez isn't gonna be able to keep up like he could at 126 and 130.

Best way for Pacquiao to kill Marquez is to stab him with some of his PED needles until he bleeds to death.

its funny how people say marquez will stand no chance at all BUT if this fight was at 135 then marquez will cause manny all kinds of trouble LOL.. how can u zero marquez out at 144 but then give him all the chance if its at 135?? thats a 9lbs different and come fight night BOTH of them would probably be off by a few lbs only. so a boxer who is consider as one of the great is completely a bum if he moves up 9lbs?? so all that experience and learning through out his career wont help him because the 9lbs will be to much even though on fight night it will only be a few lbs different? or are u guys just using this as an excuse so that IF manny do win u guys can already discredit his win before hand?

What if Pacquiao gets that same cramp that allegedly kept him from finishing off Mosley.. A less mobile Pac could make an interesting fight with Marquez. With that said, a trully fired up Pacquiao is a crazy thing.

I don't think he is as luke warm about this fight as some hardcore fans are. He seems to be more determined than he has been for a while..
