agree that Linares' corner did a bad job with the cuts -- can't blame the ref for stopping it -- Linares' face was totally covered in blood, some of it dripping and some actually spurting -- plus he was getting hit with 'target practice' type punches and was clearly in a world of trouble -- too bad because until the cuts became too much for him, Linares was clearly winning the fight -- if Linares doesn't give out due to the bleeding, he easily makes in through the 12th and gets the decision....

Linares fought his balls off. Would have liked to see him given more time. He was still fighting back. The blood was intense though. Id love to see a rematch.

And it WAS a good stop. If you noticed at the end of the fight when Linares was on his knees in the corner, the blood was just dripping off his face!

Ariza's upset with the stoppage! screw him! maybe linares shouldn't have sparred Pac and gotten cut a week or so before the fight. I'm not sure if that was the same cut that reopened above his right eye, but it sure was in the same area that they were talking about.
He deserved all the praise. He looked like an elite boxer those first 6 rounds, just as good as Amir Khan or Bradley

Linares sparring with Pac was a good thing, not a bad thing dude, if you wanna be great why not spar with the best?

Blaming the sparring cuts for the loss is just petty.

Linares lost because of his CHIN mostly.

I didn't like Linares's ****y, arrogant attitude at the start of the fight so it was nice seeing him get properly rewarded with the beat down. He acted like his **** didn't stink and DeMarco couldn't do anything to him.

Linares is a great talent and will be back but Tony beat him on the night.Laughable for Alex who has been in the sport for perhaps 4 years (could be more) to call Caiz inexperienced
