It was admirable that he was such a staunch supporter of Mick Hennesey and didn't leave him years ago, but he can't be serious about moaning why Sky or the Brits didn't get onboard and didn't get 5 minutes of TV time...he was signed to the wrong damn promoter!!!!!! lol
As soon as he left Hennesey, Hennesey lands fight on terrestrial tv, so for all his loyalty to Mick, just a few more months would have seen him hit the jackpot if Tyson Fury is pulling millions of viewers.

Man up Froch and keep fighting hard and the Brits will now see you on Sky, but keep moaning and we both know us Brits will not take too kindly to someone feeling sorry for themselves

      Froch is the real deal.

He deserves more recognition than he has got but, like others have already said, he was with the wrong promoter and wasted many years.

Unfortunately Carl, you won't be making a big mark here, boxing is dead in America.

It's just that American boxers continue to dominate.
Both of those things start to change if he beats Ward.

Is boxing really dead in America ?

I don't think a move to the US, even with an unlikely supersix win, makes sense.

After the final Froch's most lucrative potential opponents will be Mikkel Kessler, Lucian Bute and then maybe James DeGale. All of those fights will likely make the most revenue in Britain.

He IS popular over here, but as he points out he has had undeserving exposure. He’s this country’s #1 fighter (in my humble opinion) and quite rightly should be a household name.

I would hate to see him move to the States though. Not that i have anything against America! The USA is a fine place, I’ve been many times, and the people are always polite and decent, however, Carl is a proud Englishman and if he wins the S6 in December then the adulation he craves (and deserves) will be there.

Keep your boots on this green and present land, Carl.

He was tied to promoter Mick Hennessy for too long and for some reason SKY and the big TV companies don't want to work with Hennessy Sports. As soon as he signs with Matchroom he gets major TV coverage.

So its his own fault for sticking with an unpopular promoter when everyone else (Haye, Calzaghe, Hatton, Khan) were being shown on mainstream TV and becoming big names.
He coudlnt just tear up his contract.

Froch gets taxed 50% on whatever he earns, financial wise it's better to move to the USA.
