    WBC junior middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (38-0-1, 28KOs) will not train in Big Bear, California for his upcoming fight against Puerto Rico's Kermin Cintron (33-4-1, 28KOs) on November 26. Alvarez, who trained in Big Bear for recent fights with Alfonso Gomez and Ryan Rhodes, wants to avoid the possibility of getting sick from the climate change in California.

        Finally Canelo takes a gatekeeper fight. Too bad he's already champ.

        Good fight for a young fighter. Crap for a champ. Just judging canelo by his age, this is a good resume fight. Former champ who is obviously past it is still dangerous enough to be a real step up from the gomez and hatton type's. Hopefully this will lead to canelo v. the top @ 154 or 160 by the end of 2012

            After seeing Cintron's last 2 fights, I know he's supposed to lose. But to have a champion who hasn't even fought on the championship level have a title, is simply unacceptible. I hope Cintro gets the power to his jaw & stops him. I have no problem with Alvarez as a fighter, I do however have a problem with him being a chapion when he hasn't even fought on that level yet.

              I wouldn't be surprised if Cintron rocks Canelo or maybe drops him. . . But I don't see him stopping him. . . Cintron is straight GARBAGE on the inside; if you can cut the ring off and get in his chest. But he is pretty good from the outside. . . Canelo is a mid-range combination puncher type guy so Cintron WILL LOOK better than he has in his past fights. . .

              But still, Canelo UD along the lines of 116-112 - combinations just too CRACKING! Final punchstats will read: Canelo - 205/603; Cintron - 153/538

                DI BUSH BABEEEEEE!!! Lol I feel ya man - being a champion today is definitely more to do with promotor and popularity.

                  All of asudden Canelo worried about gwtting sick, a good bout but can't see Kermit winning....I'd like to see Canelo unify w/Trout,good contrast of styles,and Trout is a champ...
