Martinez: "We made an offer, I would be fighting Mayweather in Las Vegas next year"

Here´s an interview in a spanish newspaper, if anybody want´s to translate it you are welcome:

He also said this funny comment: " i´ve never been scared except with Kelly Pavlik, he hit me in the first round and his arm seemed to me like an iron barr, i was just thinking not to look in panic"

From what I read the fight will be at 150 if it happens.

        I hope not

Floyd is better than manny. He doesn't need to sink that low

anything below 154 is funny, lower than 152 isn't cool

Mayweather-Martinez would surprise me. Still, it's a decent fight. Mayweather can take the lion's share, though I am surprised that Al Hayman would take the risk after what happened to Paul Williams.

Maybe this is the reason DiBella is blowing off Pirog? It could also explain DiBella's sucking of floyd's balls everytime the name comes up.

Still, this fight would surprise me if it happened.

Well, Mayweather would have to fight him at 160 or 154 with no catchweight... or else he'll just sound like a hypocrite for what he's been saying.
I mean, he can do a catchweight if he wants, I don't really care, but he'll just look like a hypocrite if he didn't.

Floyd = most skilled fighter of the modern era

Williams = the black version of margarito

Seems like Sergio is using Khan's book to get a fight with Floyd ....

In actuality I don't believe Sergio brings enough to the table to get the fight. At least Ortiz had a nice Mexican-American following that would help boost sales.

Sergio vs Floyd is a fight-Fans fight and they rarely attract the kind of paper Floyd wants these days.

I just hope if it gets made, it's not at some lousy catchweight.

yeah its pretty obvious they're on Mayweather's balls in their recent interviews and taking digs @ Pac, this was the same thing when May-Ortiz was announced - it was quite obvious when watching Ortiz's interviews.

It would surprise me if the fight happens @ 154, Mayweather deserves all the props in the world if it happens there, anything lower is going to be disappointing.
