I think this is just an investment into getting a payday. His size alone wont win him any fights but some people will pay to see the attempt.

i believe the money he is using is just in his training regime.his doctors,trainers,nutritionist,etc...if he gets the green light from his team he will look for a promoter or he could be contacted by an old one...time will tell.he was a HW who did train hard for his fights except vs the arreola payday.he got 100000 for that fight on short notice.

Nice article, Joe. I've always like Jameel Mccline, he's a got a good attitude and he's a decent fighter. I hope he makes some $$$ and gets a few good wins under his belt before he retires again..

man I feel bad, reading this makes me think he is an honest and nice guy. and at the same time hopeless. He's got no chance even in this weak division.

I like how 2 posts above me says he has no chance even in this weak division. If i were really a weak division he would have a chance. Heavyweight division is hardly weak, its just not exciting with these giants dominating. THe heavyweight division is currently the most talented in all of boxing, and its the best the heavyweight division has ever been. Just because the fights are boring today with heavyweights doesnt mean its weak. Nobody stands a chance against these 6'6 250 monsters who have tremendous skills.

i think he can make money but to say today's division is the most talented is a little off imo...i say the 90's will be hard to beat...there were so many good fights & everyone fought everyone & sometimes multiple times. everyone wanted a piece of bowe, lennox, holyfield & tyson because the money was ridiculous then...i heard chisora was going to get like 500000 to fight wlad for the title....peter mcneely got 750000 to fight tyson in his comeback....90's the best era because its the first time boxers from all over the world were competeing...
