Linares was still throwing back fine and the blood didn't seem to bother him that much and ur always supposed to give a champion like that the benefit of the doubt I think he should've fought smarter but either way he could've and wanted to finish I have him winning UD in the rematch

blame your idiot trainer, for telling you to be aggressive when you were winning wide but clearly getting worn down...............

I felt they could have let it go on. It wasn't like he wasn't capable of fighting but I don't blame them for stopping it. I was really disappointed and would like to see Linares avenge this loss. He was doing excellent besides the cuts.

            The Racket Squad: Rematch This!

Within the first seconds of the fight, Steward hailed Linares as the second coming of Ray Robinson.
The commentators acted as if Demarco was not even in the same ring until the fourth.
The promotional B.S was flying all over the Staples center as the 'Canelo' style 'prodigy' references were being used to boost the 'brilliant' talents of Linares.
It was high bias, not high drama, until the seventh, when Tony was applauded for finding his groove.

Roach should have stopped that fight in the tenth stanza.
We could tell that the damage was beginning to look like career ending stuff.
I still don't think the new 'prodigy' will ever be the same.

My brain is telling me the more skillful Linares will win the rematch, but my gut is telling me a more confident Demarco would win again.

                    Make it happen.

                    Rematch should happen.

I thought it was premature and even told my father and friends it was premature. Demarco threw about 7 punches in that last combo, all blocked by the bloodied Linares gloves', one landed, fight was stopped with that one punch. An exhausted but still aware Linares, didn't even have the energy to complain ATM of the stoppage. So it looked like he didn't care, but IMO he did care but was just too tired and wasted to complain, but he had enough energy to block punches and survive the fight IMO.
