Marquez had his most success when he would stay on the outside, time Manny as he was coming in and counter anytime Manny would miss. When he discovered that he could hit Manny at will he became overconfident and tried to land combinations on Manny only to find himself on the canvass. Floyd won't do that, he'll turn Manny and counter Manny with straight right hands everytime Manny decides to rush in with his combination punching.
funny thing is the the ones who troubles manny is the one who is willing to throw combination of counters while manny is throwing his own combination
marquez, morales
but the one who tries to outbox him got defeated and tkod and lost
cotto, mosley who run backwards for 12 rounds (lost 11 rounds againts manny)
u can say manny was frustrated on mosley
but he won almost all rounds while being frustrated if u say so
if u say floyd aint the same fighter as cotto and mosley
well ill say the same
manny is not the same with all floyds opponent not even close
50/50 fight
d!ckriding at best if u think one of them will 100% win this fightLast edited by viperz007; 10-17-2011, 08:46 PM.

I don't think I've ever seen an interview with Scully where he's not chewing gum...
All ****ting aside, I like John Scully, he's a down-to-earth guy and he has wealth of boxing knowledge. I'm glad Boxingscene has him as a poster...

notice when Marquez circled to his left it neturalized Mannys left for the most part its whe Marquez gets brave it leads to his downfall
if Marquez is intelligent he'll fight Pac from distance and step out of range or tie up after he lands clean counter punches

A boxer cannot build up his chin, his temple or his eardrum. So it won't shock anyone if Manny hits the canvas or cannot get up.
LOL@easier said than done. It HAS been done in Manny's case. It can be done again.
No one was thinking Morales was going to do it either, and he did it.

Do you have a list of potential fighters that could carry the torch after Manny and Floyd?
