But I think that it will be worse for Pacquiao against Floyd much more so than it was against Marquez II.

    Why?

Because even though Marquez has elite skills, he has Mexican pride that leads him to want to exchange even when its to his disadvantage. Marquez is easily led into exchanges because he feels that he's defending more than just his title by fighting that way.

Floyd has no such hang ups. He is the most intelligent fighter in decades. He controls the tempo and the distance of a fight. When a fighter tries to charge forward and impose size or strength, it looks like Mayweather/Ortiz where the other guy gets frustrated trying to land and fouls.

Pacquiao won't have a dance partner. He will be alone in the jungle while the hunter snipes at him from safe positions.

That .. is the sweet science.
I wholeheartedly agree. Marquez's willingness to exchange with Pacquiao proved to be his downfall and if he chooses to do that again in this fight he is definitely getting KO'd. Marquez had his most success when he would stay on the outside, time Manny as he was coming in and counter anytime Manny would miss. When he discovered that he could hit Manny at will he became overconfident and tried to land combinations on Manny only to find himself on the canvass. Floyd won't do that, he'll turn Manny and counter Manny with straight right hands everytime Manny decides to rush in with his combination punching.

      easier said than done

funny thing is the the ones who troubles manny is the one who is willing to throw combination of counters while manny is throwing his own combination

      marquez, morales

but the one who tries to outbox him got defeated and tkod and lost
cotto, mosley who run backwards for 12 rounds (lost 11 rounds againts manny)
u can say manny was frustrated on mosley
but he won almost all rounds while being frustrated if u say so

if u say floyd aint the same fighter as cotto and mosley

      well ill say the same

manny is not the same with all floyds opponent not even close

      50/50 fight
d!ckriding at best if u think one of them will 100% win this fight

I don't think I've ever seen an interview with Scully where he's not chewing gum...

All ****ting aside, I like John Scully, he's a down-to-earth guy and he has wealth of boxing knowledge. I'm glad Boxingscene has him as a poster...

Cotto is not a good counter puncher and neither is Mosley. Cotto decided to trade punches with Manny after round one and got punished for it. Mosley just ran and hardly answered with anything of his own. Morales willingness to trade got him KTFO and it almost got Marquez the same fate. You need to box Manny and box him EFFECTIVELY in order to beat him.

notice when Marquez circled to his left it neturalized Mannys left for the most part its whe Marquez gets brave it leads to his downfall

if Marquez is intelligent he'll fight Pac from distance and step out of range or tie up after he lands clean counter punches

For crying outloud Manny has been knocked out twice. What are you talking about?

A boxer cannot build up his chin, his temple or his eardrum. So it won't shock anyone if Manny hits the canvas or cannot get up.

LOL@easier said than done. It HAS been done in Manny's case. It can be done again.

No one was thinking Morales was going to do it either, and he did it.

Dude you are ******ed? Cotto did not come in to outbox Pac dummy. His crappy plan was to stand his ground against Pac n try to trade with him. First couple of rounds he was trying to match Pac's speed which is insane. After he got knocked down the second time he tried to back paddle n survive. He was trying to box more by the middle rounds but by that time he was too damaged to get anything offensive started.
