Yes it does matter because faking injury is a pattern of behaviour with him. And with regards to your previous post, anyone can go to the doctor and claim they fell and hurt their shoulder and get the diagnosis Hopkins got. It's a common injury and all he needed was 5mg of vicodin and was sent home so it couldn't have been that bad even if it was true. Also, Dawson never picked him up, he postured up while Hopkins was leaning on him and shrugged him off. The hand contact with the right leg was incidental while Hopkins was already in the air and no lifting was done.

And you can blame the dirtiest top level boxer in the history of the sport for that. Compared across time there's never been an elite level boxer who's been as consistently dirty as Hopkins has been. Faking injury, headbutting, low blows, rabbit punches, punching on the break, constant clinching/holding, these are his legacy among other things.

I think B-Hop gets away with his dirty tactics in the eyes of a lot of fans because of his age and status in boxing.

Honestly he is an extremely dirty fighter and he relies heavily on that I agree with what Kellerman said about B-Hop after the Calzaghe fight "Its all about can this old legend figure out a way to win, he has figured out a way to not decisively lose but that’s not the same thing"

It takes an MRI, which wasn't done. They all said the same thing. A separation has several degrees of severity, from minor to major, which can include torn ligaments. A dislocation is XRay evident. A separation isn't. I'm not trying to ignore your expertise, but just ask you to consider my findings.

bottom line......... he was tackled to the canvas (which is a foul) and because of that bernard could not continue the fight.. it doesn't matter if he had a separated shoulder a dislocation or a hang nail.. it should be a no contest and a rematch should be made.. that's the rules follow them.. making excuses and bsing people will not help boxing gain any new fans.. at least we know wrestling is fake.. stop the bull****.. and overturn the tko loss..

don't waste your time...hopkins fans will ignore all of the dirty tactics he uses...trust me if the situation was reversed, they would be praising hopkins and kicking chad's back in for putting his full weight on hopkins back...

You know what, from my view point, i think that slast night was karma, i did not see Bernard throw one legit punch, he keeps rushing fighters, holding them and hitting them while the ref tries to separate them... He does this to tire guys out and then in the end he claims he turns it on...

Hes a fraud, i dont care how hurt you are, you dont react that way, if he wanted to fight, they would of let the fight continue, he basicly cried foul and claimed he was hurt, then in the interview is saying he wanted to fight...
Then why would they stop the fight Bernard???

I know that Chad shrugged him off but what is a man suppose to do wen his opponent jumps on his back???

                KARMA!!!

Dawson landed 7 punches (3 of which were jabs) the whole night, he got frustrated with BHOP and tossed him to the ground, injuring him. For this he is awarded the Light Heavyweight Championship of the World? BS. That was a flagrant foul and no real world title should ever trade hands on a foul.

                    TKO2? No way.

No Contest. Hopkins retains title. Immediate rematch.

I am "real" and conspiracies are the product of paranoid minds, I laugh at them. Hopkins spent ove 30 minutes are the fight gesticulating and explaning and complaining, using his injured arm as normal, just as he eventually did in the Echols fight. Because this was controversial and with the boxing communtiy have injuries on a daily or weekly basis, much discussed amongst themselves, I believe they were well aware of what tests were needed. An experienced layman would, especially in the boxing business.

Also Hopkins himself, being such a serial faker, and always wanting to show himself as right, if such PROOF could be obtained, would want to display it triumphantly across the headlines. If he was faking, and really was OK as the indications actually show, the tests would only include a series of movements, where Hopkins would say "ouch".......... The Xray was a precaution against fractured bones only. An Xray does NOT show separation, UNLESS a heavy weight is held. All the sites agree on this, and it's easy to understand. They all also say that a dislocation is very different, and easily seen on Xray.

An instant diagnosis of separation by a doctor would be made if there was the required "lump" at the trauma site. Gabriel Montoya the MaxB writer, said he was right beside Hopkins on his way to the dressing room and there was NO lump. NO lump was evident during the interview. Hopkis is a known liar and faker.

So my opinion is still the same- I believe that he was faking to gain a point or a DQ, his common modus operandi, which backfired on him this time, as it did with Cintron.
