Marquez is not going to win so I can only hope it goes beyond 6 rds... everything is against Marquez in this rematch. I highly doubt it'll be a war like the first two - its painfully obvious what the fight is going to be like. But hey prove me wrong, boxing needs fights like the first two Marquez fights especially with the recent PPV fights.

Who else isn't excited for Pacquiao/Marquez III?

I won't lie : I'd love to see this pathetic little farce backfire, and blow up, in Pacquiao and his team's collective faces.
It'd be some shit if Marquez still gave him all he could handle, 8 years and 18lbs after their first clash. You know he wouldn't get the decision, just because Pacquiao is more popular, but it'd still be hilarious if he got another 1 point "win", or a draw.

You and I both know that the friday before the fight you will feel curious, you will feel a sense of slight intrigue disturbed by inner denial. And right around 6PM EST on fight day you will feel the excitement rushing thru your veins softly as your tender body tries to contain it. And an hour before fight time you will find yourself in the corner of your every room, in the dark watching a stream of the fight as you hold the laptop above your head to get more signal.
Remember this.

I'm pumped for this fight simply because I know Marquez will bring it unlike Mosley or Clottey. And I know this won't be easy for Pac because Marquez has Pac's number, he just knows how to fight Pac and I see this as another competitive fight despite what everyone here thinks.

And WTF kind of laptop do you have that you need to hold it above your head for "more signal"?

these 2 styles just make good fights, it dont matter the weight.

People write Marquez off and blame the reason of him looking so bad against Floyd was because of weight, which isn't true. Yes, the weight did play a factor, but the styles also hindered him. Floyd and Marquez are counter-punchers, but their difference is that Floyd hits you and gets out. Marquez gets into exchanges but in the end gets the better of it. He needs someone in front of him or coming to him for him to thrive. Mayweather didn't allow that. Not saying the weight wasn't a factor, but people also overlook that the styles did not favor Marquez.
Not saying he'll win, but he's not going quietly into the night either.Last edited by TintaBoricua; 10-16-2011, 10:02 PM.
